The PQ-500 has a powerful 36V motor and will lift 225Kg (500Lbs) or two men for around 230 meters on each battery depending on load using standard low-stretch kernmantle rope. The approximate climb rate is one meter per second and descent is faster still.

The remote control option makes the PQ-500 versatile for all types of industrial rope access applications. It has a gravity brake mechanism for added safety and can be used top-down and for hoisting.

PQ-500's are used by infrastructure utilities, for bridge and building inspections, offshore, confined space access and difficult to reach locations as well as rescue environs.
